Park City Guide

Where to stay, how to get here and what to plan for

Park City sits about 35 minutes east of Salt Lake City International Airport, high in the Wasatch Mountains. Winter brings two major ski resorts, Park City Mountain and Deer Valley. Summer brings hundreds of miles of trails, mountain biking and cool evenings on Historic Main Street.

Where you stay shapes the trip. Here is how the neighborhoods we manage compare.

Getting here

Fly into Salt Lake City International Airport and take I-80 east through Parleys Canyon. Most of the drive is freeway. A rental car or a private shuttle both work, and a car makes groceries and day trips easier.

Winter

Ski season usually runs from late November into April. Holiday weeks and Presidents Day book first. Bring or rent a vehicle with all wheel drive and good tires, especially if you are staying up the hill.

Summer

June through September is hiking and biking season, with warm days and cool nights. The Utah Olympic Park, golf and the lakes and reservoirs nearby fill out the week.
